I am a Dublin based artist, graduating from Fine Art in 2010. This is my latest venture into illustration born from a love of all pawed and non-pawed creatures. Pawpawpawpawprints.com came about with thanks to my loyal companion Milo. Milo was my 14 year old family shih tzu and he died in 2014. I was heartbroken. It took about a year to bring myself around to it, but I decided that I wanted a portrait of him for myself and anyone in my family who would like it. Having recently completed a course in Adobe Illustrator I tried my hand at drawing Milo using my new found skills. My family were delighted with the drawing and it was special for me to remember my little pal. Then one or two other family members requested some drawings and suggested that there may be a place on the market for an idea like this. So I set up an etsy page, got going on social media and have been expanding on my business knowledge since August 2015. My background is in Fine Art and I make abstract paintings and sculptures, so this business is a great way for me to marry my love of being creative and my sincere love for animals. It is hugely rewarding when I give a pet owner a portrait of their animal, it means a lot to them and that happiness in turn means a lot to me. I have drawn a few portraits of pets who have died and I understand how important it is to have a way to remember our pet family members, I'm delighted that I can do that for people. I recently left my job to pursue pawpawpawpawprints and my own artistic work on a full time basis so I am looking forward to the adventure ahead. If you like what you see please spread the word on social media, it's hugely appreciated. Thanks, Jane Fogarty.

I had such a wonderful time in Nashville and felt that I was in such a powerfully supportive Creative Community that I am determined to Return to Record Part 3 of the Current Triple Album there. Our Engineer Kevin Whyte will be over there Touring in September so ideally that would be the time to go so Brian and I will have him there to oversee the Recording. We have all the Songs for Parts 2 and 3 and start Recording Part 2 with Kevin Dara and Tommy in Late June 2011. I have €1,300 and need in the region of €7,500 to make the Album. All Proceeds from Part 1 will be going toward the Nashville Recordings. Any Donations however small will be gratefully received and rewarded with Surprise Gifts of Promo Items, Poems, Hand written Lyrics, Drawings, before and over the Release of all 3 Albums. The Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital is a teaching hospital providing a range of medical services to both women and newborn infants founded in 1826 by Mrs. Margaret Boyle in Dublin, Ireland.NamesMrs. Boyle took over the vacated building of the Meath Hospital in the Coombe in Dublin's Liberties area, after the Meath moved to Heytesbury St. It was renamed the "Coombe Lying-in Hospital" in 1829. It was granted a royal charter in 1867 which allowed it to receive public as well as private funds. In 1967 it moved to new premises nearby in Cork St. and was renamed the Coombe Women's Hospital in 1993. From January 2008 its name has again changed to the "Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital", but it has always been known to Dubliners as simply as "the Coombe".ServicesThe Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital is one of the largest providers of women and infant health care in the Republic of Ireland. Over 9,000 mothers give birth in the hospital every year. In addition, over 1,000 infants are admitted to the Paediatric Unit and over 8,000 surgical operations are performed every year. It provides clinical experience to three training colleges, including University College Dublin, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Trinity College, Dublin.

Dublin Food Co-op, Newmarket

What is the Dublin Food Co-op? We are Ireland's leading location to buy organic, local, Fairtrade and sustainable products. But that's not all! Our co-operative principles and member ownership mean that we're much more than a farmers market - we're a true food democracy in the heart of the city. Our Roots & Evolution The Co-op's roots lie with a group of friends involved in a campaign to stop the Government building a Nuclear Power Station at Carnsore Point, Co. Wexford. Together, in 1983, they formed a buying group to save money by bulk purchasing vegetarian wholefoods and other sustainable living products. Within a short time, this embryonic co-operative had moved toward trading weekly from a hired hall at St. Andrew's Resource Centre on Pearse Street, which became our home for more than two decades. Dublin Food Co-operative Society was formally registered in 1991 and was a pioneer of organic and local food long before the rise of farmers markets in Ireland. As the Pearse Street venue did not allow for either expansion or permanence, in later years the Co-op began what became a long search for a new home. We finally moved in July 2007 and a new chapter began. The Co-op Today Since establishing our own premises, we now open four days a week and organise or host a growing number of events. In short, Dublin Food Co-op is a vibrant community that goes far beyond food. True to the co-operative tradition, we offer an alternative to the profit-oriented business model - surplus funds are used wholly to benefit members by reducing prices and improving services and facilities. The Co-op is 100% owned and controlled by its consumer members. JOIN US!
