Echo Arena Liverpool is part of ACC Liverpool, along with sister venues, BT Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre Liverpool, opening in 2015. A major employer and a proud supporter of the city it represents we play a key role in the economy and help to form a positive image of the wider region.
We operate as a not-for-profit organisation, working with hundreds of private-sector businesses, both large & small, that make up an industry in this part of the UK with over 1700 businesses employing 28,000 staff. These statistics - and the some of the massive infrastructure developments now taking place across Merseyside - including projects such Peel's Liverpool2 deep water container terminal - ensure that Maritime is recognised as a key economic driver for the region. We work across four main areas: Business Growth, Communications, Infrastructure, Education & Skills. Our strength and value lie in having a broad & independent overview of the Maritime Sector on Merseyside; what's happening, who the key players are, what the common issues might be, what the trends are and how these various strands fit together. In order to deliver real value to local businesses we build strong relationships with a wide range of policy makers, MPs, local authorities & other strategic partner.
The Mathew Street Festival no longer operates and is now the Liverpool International Music Festival - updates on which will be posted on this page.
The Festival is run by Culture Liverpool, a page which can also be found on Facebook, and who will post and update this page with relevant music taking place in the city and cultural events relating to the Mathew Street area.
