Whether you fancy a Wednesday night cocktail, lunchtime glass of wine or early evening pint, The Marylebone has it all. A carefully selected cocktail list, variety of home-made infusions and hand-picked wine selection make the 'go to' venue in this part of town.
Situated only five minutes walk to the West End. It was once home to such writers as Virginia Would, George Bernard Shaw and Arthur Rimbaud. Fitzrovia area is probably named after the Fitzroy Tavern, a public house situated on the corner of Charlotte Street and Windmill Street within the district.
The name was adopted during the inter-war years initially by, and later in recognition of, the artistic and bohemian community habitually found at the public house. The name Fitzrovia was recorded in print for the first time by Tom Driberg MP in the William Hickey gossip column of the Daily Express in 1940. The pub is all on one level and is wheelchair friendly. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult and are dining.
We’re proud to say our menu is packed with Great British pub food classics, including iconic dishes like our hand-battered fish and chips, pie and mash and succulent burgers.
Our drinks include a great range of real ales and an extensive wine list. Our cask ales range has some of the best in British beers, including the new 1730, our very own special pale ale. The team at the Fitzrovia look forward to welcoming you soon at this fantastic traditional London pub in Bloomsbury.
The Temperance is the perfect retreat from the bustle of Marylebone and Baker Street nearby and is just a short walk from Madame Tussauds and The Planetarium.
The décor is simple, hand painted Victorian flock wallpaper, oak panelling, large sash windows and plum banquette seating create a convivial atmosphere.
The pub is popular with the local offices and tourists at lunch who enjoy the freshly prepared homely food and who then return in the evening to mingle with the locals. The weekend is for those who enjoy supplements, Bloody Marys and roasts.
Outside seating is on the sunny side of the street, ideal for a pint and a tan.

We really believe in the value of lunch; speedy and great value, and, as with everything we do with food, it has to be fresh and seasonal and delicious. So, in addition to the longer menu which offers the most wonderful salads as well as our homemade burgers, we also offer 'Love Thy Lunch'; heavenly soup or salad and a choice of wrap for £6.00, every weekday lunch.
At the weekends you need to get here early to find a place for brunch, the newspapers and maybe a mean Bloody Mary.
In the evening, there is no better place for a cocktail, a glass of wine or a choice of beers.
Our corner terrace is perfect to watch the world go by!
Situated in the heart of Fitzrovia, The Lucky Pig is a convivial blend of retro décor and classic cocktails, providing in-the-know Londoners with old fashioned glamour and good times as soon as they walk down the stairs and enter this intimate and decadent drinking den.
Launched by Keith Tucker, Will Wigram and Paul Bromley in December 2011, The Lucky Pig is a rare gem for those looking to escape the hum drum of daily life and enjoy beautifully prepared drinks in a vibrant and welcoming environment.
The design of the bar has drawn on elements from the Art Nouveau period and old New York to create a space packed full of fascinating design features, wooden floors, beautiful mismatched furniture and plush upholstery. Juxtaposing exposed brickwork with one-off art pieces, Chinese parasols, antique mirrors and chandeliers, the venue is a veritable treasure trove of collectible objects. Along the back wall is the bar fashioned from an old shop front, serving delicious cocktails. Lining the side of the venue is a collection of cubby holes seating up to 8 people. Featuring cosy little nest tables and the glow of flickering candlelight, the booths are ideal for private parties.
The whole feel of the venue is one of old school style and night-time mischief. The warm glow of the parasol lampshades cast light on the rickety piano and upstanding grandfather clock, while the tables and chairs can easily be pushed out the way for some spontaneous dancing once the evening gets underway. Even the antique ornaments are available for purchase if a guest really falls in love with a particular piece.
The cocktail menu features classic, simple, but perfectly formed concoctions all served in beautiful glassware. Eschewing bottle service, the Champagne will be served in coupes not flutes, and there will not be a sparkler in sight. The highly trained bar staff provide expert advice on the best cocktail to suit a particular mood or taste. Examples from the menu include:
• Rum & Raisin Daiquiri – Bacardi Gold Infused with Cinnamon & Raisins
• Fleur de Vie – Belvedere Vodka, Fresh Lime, Elderflower & Fizz
Also available to accompany the drinks is a selection of bar snacks, created by The Lucky Pig team. There are meat and vegetable platters and handmade stone-baked pizzettas, with all ingredients locally sourced.
Music is an important feature in The Lucky Pig calendar. Every month the bar hosts Blues Wednesdays, Jazz Thursdays, DJ on Fridays and their own resident DJ on Saturdays, so guests can enjoy a relieving post-work tipple or a long-awaited night of dancing and debauchery into the early hours.
With 120 capacity standing and relaxed seating for 50 - 60 standing, The Lucky Pig is the ideal option for an event. Featuring distinct private areas for 8 – 150, a stage, multimedia options and a fantastic PA and sound system, the venue can host live bands, product launches, meetings, and intimate gatherings. The staff, all experienced in events are able to create a tailor-made events package and advise guests on all aspects of the event, from the canapé and drinks menus to the music choice.

St Mary's Church is a Church of England church behind Euston station in Somers Town, London Borough of Camden.HistoryIt was designed by Henry William Inwood as a chapel of ease for St Pancras Old Church (which resumed being a parish in its own right in 1852) and built between 1824 and 1827 by I. T. Seabrook. A Parliamentary grant paid for the construction, though local taxation funded the purchases of the chapel's interior decoration and the site itself. It was consecrated on 11th Mary 1826 and soon afterwards it became famous for converting several local people from Roman Catholicism there.Early on, the chapel was known as "Mr. Judkin's Chapel" or "Seymour Street Chapel" and was attended during his schooldays by Charles Dickens, who was then living nearby with his family at 13 Cranleigh Street. Augustus Pugin satirised the chapel's architecture, comparing it with Bishop Skirlaw's Chapel. The interior was the subject of two schemes, the 1874 one of J K Colling and the 1890 one of R C Reade - in the latter, traceried transoms were added to the windows and the west gallery taken out. In 1888 a chancel was added and the side galleries removed. It was designated a Grade II listed building on 10 June 1954.
