This powerful and epic new musical of forbidden love, betrayal and redemption is based on a true story that fired the world’s imagination and contributed to a social movement against the slave trade. A story of great historical significance that has languished in time, once revived will remind us of the value of freedom.

Nails for everything with Absolute Peach's residence at The Doodle Bar! Come and have a simple shape and paint or the most outrageous design you can think of - anything you like! Plus have a drink whilst you're doing it. Dreams.
Under new ownership and management, the restaurant and nightclub has undergone a glamorous £2 million refurbishment, and, like a phoenix from the ashes is set to become the place to see and be seen once more.
The Chelsea institution will open to invited members and guests from mid October with a series of launch parties and a ridiculously glamorous crowd are already planning their autumn events at what is set to be London’s hottest new venue.
Barbarella will combine decadent style with luxurious and laidback comfort. Imagine dancing on the tables, but in your own home. The 100 seater restaurant will showcase a mixture of delicious, classic food alongside a selection innovative and unique cocktails.
But that’s not all.
At 11pm every night the restaurant will turn into a nightclub. With the best DJs in the city getting party-goers into the Barbarella spirit. To give guests that extra something special, a glamorous array of hostesses will tantalise diners with a unique jelly shot menu guaranteed to make proceedings go with a bang. Barbarella will have a sleek house party vibe but without hassle of having to clean up in the morning.
Offering dinner, drinks and dancing Barbarella is designed to be your go-to destination for an entire evening of fun from start to finish. Let the debauchery begin.
Spearheading the re-launch is entrepreneur, socialite and public relations man Jack Freud, whose extensive experience in restaurants and nightclubs has taken him everywhere from the notorious Pharmacy restaurant to The Groucho Club.
Helping Jack restore Barbarella to its former glory is Alice Wilson, the doyenne of nightclubs. She, of Raffles and The Brompton Club fame, will be injecting that little bit of magic to proceedings.
And last but not least is nightclub impresario Nick Valentine, the co founder The Cuckoo Club and a man who definitely knows how to keep London’s most high maintenance partygoers coming back for more.
Jack Freud said: “We’re delighted to be able to bring back an institution in the heart of Chelsea. 2012 has proved such an incredible year of celebrations for our capital, we’re delighted to be a part of it by giving Londoners somewhere to continue the party.”
Barbarella is back. And the buzz has already started.
The Gagliardi Gallery opened in 1978 in London and is one of the most established, long-standing contemporary art galleries in the city. Over the last 35 years, the gallery has maintained a strong identity and continues to build trusted relationships with its clients who range from Princes, Sheikhs and businessmen, to those who pay monthly for a painting worth under £500.
The gallery has become synonymous with quality and diversity, exhibiting a comprehensive collection of sculpture and painting characterised by its variety - from traditional Tuscan landscapes, still-life studies and intricate portraits, to the brazenly abstract and surreal.
The mentality of the gallery is unchanged over the years, providing a personal service and offering high quality art at a good price. Visitors and clients are invited into a warm environment to search through numerous artworks by over one hundred artists, some of whom just out of art school, others very established international artists with works present in some of the greatest museums in the world, such as the V & A, the Tate, the Museum of Art in Rio de Janeiro and the National Museum in Wales.
Today, we are one of the oldest contemporary art galleries in London and inextricably entrenched in the buzzing cosmopolitan parade that is the King's Road in Chelsea, one of the most prestigious and dynamic areas of London.
Chelsea Theatre is a contemporary performance space and community hub which combines artistic excellence and community participation.
As a performance space, we are dedicated to commissioning, producing and presenting the freshest and most innovative artists, both nationally and internationally. We’re proud to have hosted some of the biggest names in contemporary performance from artists including Ron Athey, Franko B, Bobby Baker, Gob Squad, Lone Twin, Goat Island and Annie Sprinkle. Chelsea Theatre is a member of Live Art UK.
Chelsea Theatre is fully accessible and carers go free to any performance at Chelsea Theatre. We have a variety of concessional rates for World’s End Estate residents.
