Known as an area with many expensive, luxurious bars and restaurants, it is considered a playground for upper-class youth, celebrities, young business executives and the hipper, more recent members of the Swedish Royal Family. Close to Stureplan is the park Humlegården with the National Library of Sweden. Stureplan is connected to Östermalmstorg subway station.

Stockholm Central Station is the largest railway station in Sweden. It is situated in the district of Norrmalm at Vasagatan/Central Plan. Opened July 18, 1871, it has over 200,000 visitors daily, of which about 170,000 are travellers .Because it is the busiest station in Sweden, engineers use the heat generated by the thousands of visitors every day to help heat a nearby office building. In front of the central station stands a statue of Nils Ericson.HistoryThe station was built between 1867 and 1871 with Adolf W. Edelsvärd as the architect. Until 1925 the tracks led in to the station but during a renovation 1925-1927 the tracks were moved to the west and the former track hall was converted into a 119 meter long, 28 meter wide and 13 meter high waiting hall. During the renovation the station was extended to the south through the construction of the southern pavilion. This part of the station currently houses a conference facility. Next to the conference facility is the Royal waiting hall where the Royal Family waits when travelling by train. In 1951 the façade towards Vasagatan was changed and given a more simplified look. In 1958 an underground passage to T-Centralen was opened.

Sergels torg is the most central public square in Stockholm, Sweden, named after 18th-century sculptor Johan Tobias Sergel, whose workshop was once located north of the square.OverviewSergels torg has a dominant west-to-east axis and is divided into three distinct parts: A sunken pedestrian plaza furnished with a triangular pattern and a wide flight of stairs leading up to the pedestrian street Drottninggatan, connecting south to Stockholm Old Town and north to Kungsgatan. This plaza is partly overbuilt by a roundabout centered on a glass obelisk and by the concrete decks of three major streets. North of this traffic junction is a considerably smaller open space overlooked by the high-rise façade of the fifth Hötorget Building from where the avenue Sveavägen extends north. The site south of the square is taken up by the cultural centre Kulturhuset, which also harbours the Stockholm City Theatre and hides the Bank of Sweden headquarters facing the square Brunkebergstorg behind. Klarabergsgatan leads west past the department store Åhléns City and Klara Church to Klarabergsviadukten and Kungsholmen. Hamngatan leads east under Malmskillnadsgatan to Kungsträdgården, Norrmalmstorg, and Strandvägen. Together with the underground mall east of the pedestrian plaza and the T-Centralen metro station and other continuous underpasses west thereof, Sergels torg forms part of a continuous underground structure almost a kilometre in length.

Mariatorget is a square and a city park in Södermalm, Stockholm, constructed at the end of the 1760s. Its original name was Adolf Fredriks torg, but it was renamed "Mariatorget" in 1959 to avoid confusion with the church and parish of Adolf Fredrikskyrkan in Norrmalm. The street Swedenborgsgatan, named after Emanuel Swedenborg, starts there and continues southwards. A bust of the same Swedenborg is also situated in the park. The central fountain is crowned by a sculpture by Anders Henrik Wissler, Tors fiske , depicting the Norse god Thor slaying the sea serpent Jörmungandr.A small Methodist church, S:t Paulskyrkan, faces the southwest corner of the square. It houses the oldest Methodist congregation in Sweden. The building was inaugurated in 1876. The altar painting by Wilhelm Gernandt was added when the altar section was rebuilt in 1894.

Stockholm City Hall is the building of the Municipal Council for the City of Stockholm in Sweden. It stands on the eastern tip of Kungsholmen island, next to Riddarfjärden's northern shore and facing the islands of Riddarholmen and Södermalm. It houses offices and conference rooms as well as ceremonial halls, and the luxury restaurant Stadshuskällaren. It is the venue of the Nobel Prize banquet and is one of Stockholm's major tourist attractions.Site and constructionIn 1907 the city council decided to build a new city hall at the former site of Eldkvarn. An architectural contest was held which in the first stage resulted in the selection of drafts by Ragnar Östberg, Carl Westman, Ivar Tengbom jointly with Ernst Torulf, and Carl Bergsten. After a further competition between Westman and Östberg the latter was assigned to the construction of the City Hall, while the former was asked to construct Stockholm Court House. Östberg modified his original draft using elements of Westman's project, including the tower. During the construction period, Östberg constantly reworked his plans, resulting in the addition of the lantern on top of the tower, and the abandonment of the blue glazed tiles for the Blue Hall.

Stockholm Palace or The Royal Palace is the official residence and major royal palace of the Swedish monarch . Stockholm Palace is located on Stadsholmen, in Gamla stan in the capital, Stockholm. It neighbours the Riksdag building. The offices of the King, the other members of the Swedish Royal Family, and the offices of the Royal Court of Sweden are located here. The palace is used for representative purposes by the King whilst performing his duties as the head of state. This royal residence has been in the same location by Norrström in the northern part of the Gamla stan in Stockholm since the middle of the 13th century when the Tre Kronor Castle was built. In modern times the name relates to the building called Kungliga Slottet. The palace was designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Younger and erected on the same place as the medieval Tre Kronor Castle which was destroyed in a fire on 7May 1697. Due to the costly Great Northern War which started in 1700, construction of the palace was halted in 1709, and not recommenced until 1727— six years after the war. When Tessin the Younger died in 1728, the palace was completed by Carl Hårleman who also designed a large part of its Rococo interior. The palace was not ready to use until 1754, when King Adolf Frederick and Queen Louisa Ulrika moved in, but some interior work proceeded until the 1770s. No major conversions have been done in the palace since its completion, only some adjustments, new interiors, modernization and redecorating for different regents and their families, coloration of the facades and addition of the palace museums.

Gröna Lund is an amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden. It is on the seaward side of Djurgården Island. It is relatively small compared to other amusement parks, mainly because of its central location, which limits expansion. The 15 ac (6 ha) amusement park has over 30 attractions and is a popular venue for concerts in the summer. It was founded in 1883 by James Schultheiss.HistoryGröna Lund's roots are in the 1880s, making it Sweden's oldest amusement park. However the area has been used for similar purposes since the early 1700s. In 1883, a German by the name of Jacob Schultheiss rented the area to erect "carousels and other amusements". Until 2001, descendants of Schultheiss ran Gröna Lund. Before the amusement park came into being, Gröna Lund was the name of a small park. The park's location is quite unique in the sense that most of the buildings are old residential and commercial structures from the 19th century. The buildings were not built for the park; instead, the park was built around the buildings. The park has three different entertainment venues: Dansbanan (Lilla Scenen), Gröna Lundsteatern and Stora Scenen.Gröna Lund features most attractions common to amusement parks, such as a tunnel of love, a funhouse and seven roller coasters. Gröna Lund is also known for its rock and pop music concerts; the capacity record is held by Bob Marley, who attracted 32,000 people in 1980; it was his third performance at the venue, as he had having played in 1977 and 1978. The record is unbeatable since new regulations prevent such large audiences at Gröna Lund. American rapper Nas performed with almost 22,000 people in 2010.

Långholmen Prison, officially Långholmen Central Prison, was historically one of the biggest prison facilities in Sweden with more than 500 cells, located on the island of Långholmen in Stockholm. It was built 1874—1880 as the central prison of Sweden, and was temporary closed down between 1972—1975. Afterwards, Långholmens spinnhus was moved. Today the building is being used as a hotel/hostel and museum, as well as to accommodate a folk high school. Part of the prison was demolished in 1982. The prison is also noted for being the location of the last execution in Sweden prior to the abolition of capital punishment in 1921.The island itself was originally rocky and barren, but in the 19th century, the prisoners were made to cover the island with mud dredged from the waterways around it. After a few years, the fertile soil had turned the island into a lush garden with a somewhat exotic flora compared to its surroundings, caused by various seeds accidentally brought and spread by the trade and merchant ships from other places and countries that passed by the island. This peculiarity still persists, and today the island is known as a lush oasis.Notable prisonersBarbro AlvingJohan Alfred AnderJan GuillouMohammed Beck HadjetlachéZeth HöglundTure Nerman

Vem är publiken?

sergels torg 7

Perfect Fools is a creative agency for the digital era, with bases in Stockholm and Amsterdam and clients around the world. Our work takes many shapes, from long-term strategy through to production of integrated activities combining live action film, social and mobile applications, brand .com websites, events, physical products and installations, even print and other ‘traditional’ design – and next year, probably some stuff we’ve never even heard of today. But whatever we’re fooling around with at the moment, it all comes down to the same never-ending goal: to nurture innovative brand conversations that captivate, inspire and get results.

Undersköterska, Proffs på omvårdnad
Distance: 0.1 mi Tourist Information
Kommunal Universitetssjukhuset Röntgenvägen 3
Stockholm, Sweden 14186

Eventuella förändringar i läkningen rapporterar undersköterskan.
