I am a Dublin based artist, graduating from Fine Art in 2010. This is my latest venture into illustration born from a love of all pawed and non-pawed creatures. came about with thanks to my loyal companion Milo. Milo was my 14 year old family shih tzu and he died in 2014. I was heartbroken. It took about a year to bring myself around to it, but I decided that I wanted a portrait of him for myself and anyone in my family who would like it. Having recently completed a course in Adobe Illustrator I tried my hand at drawing Milo using my new found skills. My family were delighted with the drawing and it was special for me to remember my little pal. Then one or two other family members requested some drawings and suggested that there may be a place on the market for an idea like this. So I set up an etsy page, got going on social media and have been expanding on my business knowledge since August 2015. My background is in Fine Art and I make abstract paintings and sculptures, so this business is a great way for me to marry my love of being creative and my sincere love for animals. It is hugely rewarding when I give a pet owner a portrait of their animal, it means a lot to them and that happiness in turn means a lot to me. I have drawn a few portraits of pets who have died and I understand how important it is to have a way to remember our pet family members, I'm delighted that I can do that for people. I recently left my job to pursue pawpawpawpawprints and my own artistic work on a full time basis so I am looking forward to the adventure ahead. If you like what you see please spread the word on social media, it's hugely appreciated. Thanks, Jane Fogarty.

Welcome everyone! Delighted you've even gotten this far... seriously; because who reads descriptions of pages anyway? Of course I'm not surprised. You being the highly intelligent, curious and ambitious person I know you to be (and nothing short of divinely beautiful/dashingly handsome)... it's only natural you're stumped at why you're not getting the interview invites to that dream job you've been applying to for ages. I've posted dozens of job vacancies in my current career. And time and time again, my careers' inbox reaches about 100 applications within hours. It's annoying, because I really don't have the time to get through them all properly. Turns out I'm not alone; Most CVs have on average 6 seconds to make a positive impression on a recruiter before it's thrown in the 'tough luck' bin. Hence my little start-up: I use my experience rooting through CVs and my research and writing ability to help people make sure their odds at landing the interview shoot through the roof! Want to give it a try? Send your CV -as it is- to [email protected] I'll set up a 1-to-1 meeting (Skype, or over coffee) which should give me all the info I need to turn your personal composition into a masterpiece of personal salesmanship.

I love all aspects of design. I do not remember a time when I did not think about the way things look and why they are the way they are. As a child and young adult I lived in various Countries and Cities; Peru, Switzerland (Basel & Lausanne), Cork, Dublin and London. I started my formal education in Basel, Switzerland where I studied Design at the ‘Kunst Gewerbe Schule’, through German. On returning to Ireland I studied Visual Communications & Production Design at the Dun Laoghaire College of Art & Design, graduating in 1995. After graduating I worked for Milner Office Furniture as a Space Planner and Interior Designer, which subsequently lead to a position as an Interior Designer with Burke-Kennedy Doyle Architects. I set up my own Design practice in 2008. I have always been passionate about design and feel strongly that different areas complement and enhance other areas of design. My graphic and production design background has stood to me in my career as an Interior Designer. Due to my background I have a broader and more open outlook to design. I often come at a concept from an entirely different angle to someone with a more Architectural background. I am used to working under pressure, to tight deadlines and budgets, as well as working within a team. I am broad minded, optimistic and energetic. I work closely with Clients at all stages of the design process, we work as a team to achieve the desired outcome. I am also a visiting Lecturer in the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design & Technology teaching 3D Spatial Design, as part of the Visual Communications BA course.
