CHELSEA space is a public exhibiting space where invited art and design professionals are encouraged to work on experimental curatorial projects that may not otherwise be realised. The programme is international and interdisciplinary covering art, design and popular culture. The emphasis is on curatorial experimentation, the exposure of process and ideas, and re-readings of artworks and archives and their re-presentation for contemporary audiences. CHELSEA space is a platform for discussion and questions rather than definitive answers. The ethos at CHELSEA space is welcoming - a meeting place where informal social networks can develop. CHELSEA space is sited on the Millbank campus of Chelsea College of Arts, next to Tate Britain, and provides extra-curricular interest for the school and open access to the widest possible audiences. 2014 will see the introduction of the Exhibition Studio Workshop into CHELSEA space, which will show a changing selection of works and objects from the CHELSEA space, Chelsea College of Arts Library and Special Collections, in addition to the established exhibition programme. The Exhibition Studio Workshop is the practice-based strand of the new MA Curating and Collections postgraduate taught course which will give students the opportunity to work within the professional gallery environment. This unique workshop will engage students in live curatorial practice within a renowned public space.

At Toccata Classics we aim to bring you fresh Classical music as it has never been heard before. We are dedicated to producing top-notch classical music - ALL our albums you can find first and original recordings that you can’t find anywhere else. Next year we will be celebrating out 10th anniversary and now have almost 200 in the catalogue with many more in the pipeline! Currently we have recordings of music by Alkan, Alnæs, Ashton, Busch, Eller, Ernst, Farwell, Glanville-Hicks, Lyatoshynsky, David Matthews, Oppel, Ornstein, Peyko, Pickard, Rameau, Ramey, Reicha, Röntgen, Sekles, Shebalin, Shostakovich, Süda, Tartini, Alexander and Nikolai Tcherepnin, Telemann, Weinberg, Woyrsch and many more. Toccata Press is an independent publisher of books on music. Brian Newbould's examination of the Schubert symphonies, amazingly, was the first full-length analysis in any language. Harold Truscott's book on the orchestral music of Franz Schmidt was the first to be written in English on that composer, nor had anyone written a book on Enescu in English before Toccata Press brought out Noel Malcolm's pioneering study of this great musician. Owen Toller's monograph on Pfitzner's opera Palestrina was likewise the first full-scale examination in English of this neglected masterpiece. Vol. 1 of Andrew Ashbee's examination of the life and music of John Jenkins was not only the first book on Jenkins but also the first on the viol fantasy; Vol. 2 is in preparation. Another of our numerous titles on British music, Ronald Stevenson: The Man and his Music is probably the largest book on any living composer. And our efforts on behalf of Stevenson continue with Comrades in Art, featuring his correspondence with Percy Grainger and complete writings on Grainger and his music. The most recent titles are Tully Potter’s monumental biography of the violinist-composer Adolf Busch and Hans Keller’s collected writings on Stravinsky, coupled with Milein Cosman’s insightful drawings and prints of the composer.

Westminster School is an independent school within the precincts of Westminster Abbey, England. It has the highest Oxford and Cambridge university acceptance rates of any secondary school or college in the world. With origins before the 12th century, the educational tradition of Westminster probably dates back as far as AD 960, in line with the Abbey's history. The school's alumni include Ben Jonson, John Dryden, Robert Hooke, Sir Christopher Wren, Louis Theroux, John Locke, Jeremy Bentham, Edward Gibbon, Henry Mayhew, A. A. Milne, Peter Ustinov, Tony Benn and seven Prime Ministers. Boys are admitted to the Under School at age seven and to the senior school at age thirteen; girls are admitted at age sixteen into the Sixth Form. The school has around 750 pupils; around a quarter are boarders, most of whom go home at weekends, after Saturday morning school. It is one of the original nine British public schools as defined by the Public Schools Act 1868. Charging up to £7,800 per term for day pupils and £11,264 for boarders in 2014/15, Westminster is the 13th most expensive HMC day school and 10th most expensive HMC boarding school in the UK.

Scotland Yard is a metonym for the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police Service, the territorial police force responsible for policing most of London. The name derives from the location of the original Metropolitan Police headquarters at 4 Whitehall Place, which had a rear entrance on a street called Great Scotland Yard. The Scotland Yard entrance became the public entrance to the police station, and over time the street and the Metropolitan Police became synonymous. The New York Times wrote in 1964 that just as Wall Street gave its name to New York's financial district, Scotland Yard became the name for police activity in London. The force moved away from Great Scotland Yard in 1890, and the name New Scotland Yard was adopted for the subsequent headquarters. The current New Scotland Yard is located on Broadway in Victoria and has been the Metropolitan Police's headquarters since 1967. In summer 2013, it was announced that the force would move back to the former site of Scotland Yard, the Curtis Green Building, which is located on the Victoria Embankment and the headquarters will be renamed Scotland Yard.
