Roman Road is a platform dedicated to harnessing fresh artistic talent and to generating creative and stimulating interactions amongst our new generation of artists and audiences. We collaborate with up-and-coming and mid-career artists to conceive innovative solo and group shows that endeavour to inspire viewers to connect with emerging art today. With a focus on photography amongst other media such as sculpture, painting and installation, Roman Road aims to foster the talents of our exhibiting artists and to bolster their distinctive creative abilities.
Step inside Kaleidoscope and take a journey out of everyday routine. The art exhibition connects 7 international visual artists to provoke the viewer’s perception and open their minds. By the use of abstraction in forms that range from painting, sculpture, video, installation and performance each artwork act as a stimulant to activate the senses and bring awareness to the here and now.
Open daily from 10am until 6pm, Kaleidoscope will run for two weeks in London's East End. The venue chosen to shore up Kaleidoscope is located right off Vyner Street and will bring a breath of fresh air to the area. Strategically placed in the middle of a busy period for London’s art world, the show will open and close with late events running until 9pm – On the 3rd October during Time Out’s First Thursdays event; and on the 17th October coinciding with the ‘Frieze Effect’.
Kaleidoscope will also feature special events where every Saturday there will be a diverse selection of ways to experience, discuss and get involved in contemporary art, for all inquisitive minds, regardless of age and knowledge. With an insightful programme ranging from free artists and curators talks to guided tours, Kaleidoscope will be an entertaining experience to share and take on to life.

Manoela Bowles and Robertta Marques
Art writer and reporter, Manoela Bowles is a permanent contributor to DasArtes magazine in Brazil. She constantly updates her website with exhibition reviews, interviews and videos. She was editor and coordinator of The Mark Magazine and has worked as Research Assistant to Hans Ulrich Obrist at the Serpentine Gallery. Manoela has curated various independent multimedia art exhibitions, including II II II at Espaço Apis – Rio de Janeiro, where she is Head of Exhibitions and Residencies. Manoela holds a Masters in Art Criticism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Arts management professional, Robertta Marques produced and curated a series of independent multidisciplinary cultural events while attending Art History BA studies in Brazil. She has a MA Arts Policy and Management from Birkbeck University of London and a Art Business Postgraduate Diploma from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Alongside her studies, she has continuously evolved her professional experience, working at administrative positions in both commercial and non-for‐profit art organisations. She currently works as HR Assistant at the Serpentine Gallery.

Studio Society is located within the popular Vyner Street artist quarter in the heart of Bethnal Green. It was originally built as part of a fabric factory in the 60s, and has now been transformed into a beautiful photographic studio and event space.
With high ceilings, large skylight, polished concrete floors, white brickwork and its' mid-century modern danish furnishings, this self-contained space has a charming intimate ambiance and can accommodate all kinds of shoots including portraits, beauty, lookbooks, green screens and videos.
It can host up to 80 guests (standing) and is available to hire on a daily and weekly basis at affordable flat rate fees. Events to date include;

Previously called Mowlem 47, forty7gallery is an exhibition space situated in Mowlem street E2. Since 2009, emerging artists have been curating their own shows. Galleries and curators have used these premises as East London Exposure. The gallery is located just off Vyner Street and offers 350 sq feet of unique space with high ceilings and a versatile use of exhisting architectural features. This "origami space" will keep changing and folding in order to host, sometime, 7Coco gallery: a reduced format of the original exhibition space, presenting installations, video works and sound performances.
