I am a Dublin based artist, graduating from Fine Art in 2010. This is my latest venture into illustration born from a love of all pawed and non-pawed creatures. Pawpawpawpawprints.com came about with thanks to my loyal companion Milo. Milo was my 14 year old family shih tzu and he died in 2014. I was heartbroken. It took about a year to bring myself around to it, but I decided that I wanted a portrait of him for myself and anyone in my family who would like it. Having recently completed a course in Adobe Illustrator I tried my hand at drawing Milo using my new found skills. My family were delighted with the drawing and it was special for me to remember my little pal. Then one or two other family members requested some drawings and suggested that there may be a place on the market for an idea like this. So I set up an etsy page, got going on social media and have been expanding on my business knowledge since August 2015. My background is in Fine Art and I make abstract paintings and sculptures, so this business is a great way for me to marry my love of being creative and my sincere love for animals. It is hugely rewarding when I give a pet owner a portrait of their animal, it means a lot to them and that happiness in turn means a lot to me. I have drawn a few portraits of pets who have died and I understand how important it is to have a way to remember our pet family members, I'm delighted that I can do that for people. I recently left my job to pursue pawpawpawpawprints and my own artistic work on a full time basis so I am looking forward to the adventure ahead. If you like what you see please spread the word on social media, it's hugely appreciated. Thanks, Jane Fogarty.

The Bowery Live Music has a new home in Dublin at The Bowery in Rathmines. Based in the bustling bohemian area in Dublin City it’s a unique, dedicated live music venue and Rum bar. We’re very passionate about our music and you can tell. We’ve everything covered from Rock ’n’ Roll to Ska, Acoustic to Funk and loads of special guests. We’ve also got some of the best DJ’s Dublin has to offer. Imagine being in the “bowels” of an 18th Century boat and you’re half way there. With the finest wood panelling from the local convent, port holes from the decommissioned Irish Naval Ship Le Setanta and floorboards from the Bolands Mill. We’re “Hot” according to The Irish Times. Lovin’ Dublin love the Nautical feel. Hot Press are excited about “Dublins brand new music venue.” Anyway enough of our waffling, you need to come in check us out, listen to some music and grab yourself a Rum Cocktail. As we like to say live long and Rock ’n Rum. [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]

Any Donations however small will be gratefully received and rewarded with Surprise Gifts of Promo Items, Poems, Hand written Lyrics, Drawings, before and over the Release of all 3 Albums. Open 7 days a week. Bar. Cafe. Creative Space.... As promoters, music is our first love and putting on parties and events is our job. Musically, we cover a lot of bases. We have DJs and bands playing across the board from house to jazz to grime, roots reggae to disco, hip hop to rock. Events-wise, on any given day you could walk into a back yard market, an exhibition launch, a marathon 10hr set from a Detroit DJ legend, a hot-tub party, fresh pizza on a double decker bus, an Italian breakfast, a live show from emerging Dublin bands, graffiti battles, sunshine sangrias in the yard, or even just a simple pint of plain and a chat.

Since reopening its doors late 2012 after an extensive renovation, The Odeon Bar has quickly built a reputation for being the go-to venue for evening drinks in the capital. Following extensive renovations, the new Odeon burst back onto the scene with the promise of good food, good drink and a good time, in delectably decadent surroundings. Open from 12pm Monday to Friday and 4pm Saturday and Bank Holiday Sunday, the Odeon on Harcourt St. provides the ideal excuse for a spot of lunch, an after-hours aperitif with the boss, casual cocktails over a weekend catch-up or a quiet glass of vino in the library. Boasting a drinks menu from your dreams, The Odeon’s skilled bar tenders guarantee a tipple for every taste. You could start with their signature cocktail, Lana Turner – the perfect pick me up after a long day. Or if you’re feeling more adventurous, you can try a Monica Bellucci, or South Side Swizzle. It’s not all cocktails at dawn in the Odeon either. If you’re feeling peckish, the inspired menu will leave you pining for more. Priding themselves on a delicious selection of dishes from lunch through to dinner, the chefs at The Odeon have devised an innovative and foodie-friendly list of palette-pleasing treats. From venison and juniper burger to a Superfood Salad and from open sandwiches to salt & chilli squid, this sumptuous selection will not disappoint. Not to mention, the ridiculously irresistible Odeon’s chocolate pecan brownie served with homemade whiskey and brown bread ice cream. Nestled like a hidden gem behind the beautiful pillars of the old Harcourt Street train station, The Odeon has maintained its authenticity and affinity to a byegone era. With framed pictures of screen icons like Bridgitte Bardot adorning the walls and a 30-foot marble bar, the venue has a distinct air of old-Hollywood glamour and luxury. Wood panelling and mirrored walls add to the indulgent setting, where you can find yourself perched upon a tall bar stool, nestled in a comfy padded booth, or relaxing with friends on a luxurious Chesterfield sofa. Adding to the vintage-glam ambiance of The Odeon is its uber-stylish interior. While rich tones like gold, copper and red dominate the decor, the splashes of vibrant fuchsia and yellow create a fun, inviting atmosphere. Boasting four separate bars in the venue, with one leading to a fully heated outdoor smoking area, you’re never far from the crowd. If you book a private area for a function, you and your party will spend the night on a suitably exclusive elevated mezzanine with private bar. Open 6 days a week with some of Dublin’s top DJs every Friday, Saturday and Bank Holiday Sunday, The Odeon provides a brilliant backdrop for any soirée big or small. For private parties take a look at the 2014 renovation of the upstairs bar with exclusive access, own rest rooms, full bar that holds up to 200 guests. Start your evening in style, whittle away the hours over drinks, or host a private party - whatever you choose, The Odeon delivers.
