Find... Purveyors of Exquisite Pre-owned & New Designer Clothing Opens 24th February 2011
Find... is a fresh new concept to hit the London fashion scene and offers a carefully selected and creatively edited collection of new and pre-owned high-end womans designer clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories at a fraction of their original price.
The shop offers classic ranges from the likes of Chanel, Hermes and Alaia alongside current key pieces by: Lanvin, Maison Margiela, Balenciaga, Viktor & Rolf, Rick Owens and many more... All beautifully presented in a fashion forward and friendly environment.
Our shop is situated at 228 Battersea Park Road and is a joint collaboration between retail fashion expert Maxine Stocking along with St Martin's graduate and McQueen trained designer and stylist Amber De Hanika who both hit upon the idea of buying and selling high-end previously owned designer clothing and showcasing them within luxuriously fresh surroundings. This allows customers to indulge their ‘hunter & gatherer’ instincts and pick up some amazing designer pieces at a fraction of their original price.
Find... is also born out of a desire to help reduce the throwaway mass market culture of discount bulk buying which contributes to huge environmental damaging effects and needless landfill space, by respecting something that has been previously owned & loved and finding it a new place within your wardrobe/lifestyle.
The shop is a style statement of intent within its own right, and features vintage furnishings by Kartell, Eames and Liberty along with monthly changing window installations from London’s hottest artists and designers. Kicking off with an Alexander McQueen tribute piece by Antonio Cabrera, the shop is definitely quite the opposite of what you have come to expect from most other designer dress agencies.
Find... offers the anecdote to the poor and impersonal customer service you have come to expect on the high street. At Find... there is always a friendly personal shopper and stylist on hand to assist with all your requirements. We also offer a Personal Wardrobe Service where we visit clients at home to edit their wardrobe space and discuss what pieces they no longer want nor wear and help turn them into cash by featuring them within our store.
The Find... experience combines the best elements of a sleek boutique with the personal touches of staff who care. Our customers also have an option to receive regular updates on the latest arrivals to hit the shop via our wanted book and website.

Battersea Park is a 200 acre green space at Battersea in the London Borough of Wandsworth in London. It is situated on the south bank of the River Thames opposite Chelsea, and was opened in 1858.The park occupies marshland reclaimed from the Thames and land formerly used for market gardens.HistoryPrior to 1846 the area now covered by the park was known as Battersea fields, a popular spot for duelling. On 21 March 1829, the Duke of Wellington and the Earl of Winchilsea met on Battersea fields to settle a matter of honour. When it came time to fire, the Duke aimed his duelling pistol wide and Winchilsea fired his into the air. Winchilsea later wrote the Duke a groveling apology.Separated from the river by a narrow raised causeway, the fields consisted of low, fertile marshes intersected by streams and ditches with the chief crops being carrots, melons, lavender (all the way up to Lavender Hill) and the famous ‘Battersea Bunches’ of asparagus.Running along the riverside from the fields were industrial concerns and wharves, including a pottery, copper works, lime kiln, chemical works, and, increasingly, railways. The site of Battersea Power Station was partly occupied by the famously bawdy Red House Tavern, patronised by Charles Dickens. Access was via the rickety wooden Battersea Bridge or by ferry from the Chelsea bank.
