Betty Booths is part of René Solari Photography and was a natural progression to capturing more of an event, party or wedding. The flagship booth and the inspiration to the company name is Betty, a rare 1967 British Commer camper van, perfect for outdoor events. And for indoor events we have Berti, a hand crafted wooden booth with design inspirations coming from vintage camera's. Both booths are totally unique and as well as being such a fun experience they would be a great addition visually to any event.
The booths are vintage looking but are crammed with the latest technology to produce great quality, professional lighting and fast output with the photos printing in an amazing 8 seconds.
The booths use facial recognition so everyone in the shot gets a copy of the photo and it's unlimited so you can keep on coming back as many times as you like.
Please check out my website for more details; www.BettyBooths.co.uk or drop me message.
The Neptune Inn is the best live music venue in Brighton and Hove. We've been giving musicians a place to perform and audiences a great time for almost 20 years so we really know what we're doing.
The quality filter we apply to the bookings brings internationally acclaimed acts like Miller Anderson, Papa George and Roland Chadwick to grace our stage as they just love playing there. Even the late great Gary Moore turned up and dazzled us with his passion and skill on a couple of occasions. We also make a point of featuring the cream of local talent such as The Long Haul, Dolly Dagger, John Crampton, Shauna Parker, Simon and Sleez, Theseus Gerrard, Sam Chara, Tracy Jane Sullivan, The Diablos and The Informers to name but a few.
We have live music every Friday from 8:30-11:00 and every Sunday from 8:00-10:30 and it's always free to get in - so it's advisable to turn up early.
We also hold two monthly nights to help you beat the Monday blues.
On the second Monday of each month we hold More Music Mondays - a folk, rock, jazz, blues, whatever (anything goes) and poetry session featuring some of the Neptune regulars both amateur & professional plus newcomers that just want to get up and play their instruments or sing us a song. Everyone is welcome, just turn up and put your name down to get a slot on the night.
The last Monday of the month is Nepp'd-Tunes. This is a music appreciation night where anyone can bring in some music, spoken word even sound affects (again anything goes) to play on our turntables. The only rules are it has to be on vinyl and you have to tell us a bit about each record you play, whether it's a cherished memory or you just love the bassline. Timings are worked out according to how many people turn up, but roughly 15 mins or 3-4 records on average. So reacquaint yourselves with those 33's 45's and 78's that have been sitting in the attic and come and share them with us.
We're a proper pub serving quality real ales, lagers, wines and spirits at pub prices, with no black boards offering Himalayan yak cheese on marbled tomato bread, no constant Sky Sports, no juke box (we do play excellent music through our own system though!) and no attitude. Just a great, friendly down-home boozer!
See you down there for a pint.
A delightful open studio combining the work of Rebecca Cluett, Martha Mitchell Designs, Lizzie Lock Millinery and Joanna Corney.
Come in to see hats and headpieces, intricately illustrated homeware and fashion and print design.
Come relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of Hove, be welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff.
Deals like 50% off food on a Monday, Mid week meet Wine Wednesdays - bottle of wine only £11.45*, Fizz Fridays - bottle of Prosecco only £12 till 10pm, 2-4-1 cocktails All Day Everyday!,
what more could you ask for
look forward to seeing you soon

St Andrew's Church is a former Anglican church in the Brunswick Town area of Hove, part of the English city of Brighton and Hove. Although declared redundant in 1990, it was one of the area's most fashionable places of worship in the 19th century, when it was built to serve the wealthy residents of the Brunswick estate and surrounding areas. It is listed at Grade I, a designation used for buildings "of outstanding architectural or historic interest".HistoryThe area between Brighton, to the east, and the ancient centre of Hove, to the west, was farmland until the 1820s, when Brunswick Town was developed in response to the success of the Kemp Town estate in Brighton—a planned estate of high-class houses, servants' quarters and other buildings, all in the Regency style. Architect Charles Busby planned and built the Brunswick Town estate, which (together with other nearby residential development) helped the population of Hove to rise from 100 in 1801 to 2,500 in 1841.The only church nearby was St Andrew's, the ancient parish church; this was some distance away and had fallen into near-dereliction. The curate of the (now demolished) St Margaret's Church in Cannon Place, Brighton, Rev. Edward Everard, owned some land near the former Wick Farm, on which the Brunswick Town estate had been built. He was aware that there was no plan to build a church in the estate, so he decided to build a proprietary chapel on his land. Rev. Everard knew Charles Busby, but they had fallen out after a disagreement in 1824 over the commission for the Sussex County Hospital (now the Royal Sussex County Hospital) in Brighton: Everard was overruled by other members of the planning committee and had to break his promise that Busby would be allowed to design it. Therefore, Everard looked for a different architect to design and build the church, and Charles Barry—who had already built the hospital and St Peter's Church in Brighton—was chosen. The church has a blue plaque commemorating Barry.
Housed within a beautiful Grade II listed building, the Brunswick Square Hotel offers comfortable accommodation in single, double, family and master suites. Some rooms offer 4 poster beds and sea views, and balconies. All rooms are en-suite and have a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and free high-speed WiFi internet access.
We are a family run hotel, where you will receive a warm welcome and feel at home.
