Toccata Press is an independent publisher of books on music. Brian Newbould's examination of the Schubert symphonies, amazingly, was the first full-length analysis in any language. Harold Truscott's book on the orchestral music of Franz Schmidt was the first to be written in English on that composer, nor had anyone written a book on Enescu in English before Toccata Press brought out Noel Malcolm's pioneering study of this great musician. Owen Toller's monograph on Pfitzner's opera Palestrina was likewise the first full-scale examination in English of this neglected masterpiece. Vol. 1 of Andrew Ashbee's examination of the life and music of John Jenkins was not only the first book on Jenkins but also the first on the viol fantasy; Vol. 2 is in preparation. Another of our numerous titles on British music, Ronald Stevenson: The Man and his Music is probably the largest book on any living composer. And our efforts on behalf of Stevenson continue with Comrades in Art, featuring his correspondence with Percy Grainger and complete writings on Grainger and his music. The most recent titles are Tully Potter’s monumental biography of the violinist-composer Adolf Busch and Hans Keller’s collected writings on Stravinsky, coupled with Milein Cosman’s insightful drawings and prints of the composer.

We are pleased to announce the first international Tri-Coaching conference, which will take place on Monday 23rd June 2014 at the Docklands campus of the University of East London.
The conference aims to bridge the gap between academic research and practitioners by bringing speakers together, who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in how the brain works; what motivates us as individuals; and how our thoughts and feelings impact on our behaviour.
This conference promises to be something very new and different from anything else. The theme is Coaching and delegates will be able to develop their understanding of how client-centred learning raises awareness and builds responsibility in drivers and is therefore critical to road safety.

Our mission is promoting environmental thinking – reduce, reuse, recycle – in early childhood providing environmental education and interactive program series for children aged 3 – 8 years.
Our goal is to call their attention to the importance of environmental awareness and taking care of our planet.
We have performances for little children focusing on the importance of environment. Our puppets made from recycled materials teach them in a funny, interactive way that all of them can do something for the environment.
We organise eco-friendly handicraft activities for the children and their parents/carers showing them how to recycle everyday items.

MUSICART offers children of Primary School age the space to create in this unique ART and MUSIC Workshop.
The children will have the time and space to explore whichever type of Art project takes their fancy and by using many different crafts will discover and enjoy this space to create. They will receive help with their projects from a team of experienced artists and designers but will be encouraged to come up with their own ideas.
They will also learn some great songs which will be remembered long after the course is finished - and will have the opportunity to form the MUSICART Band to play along at our concert at the end of the MUSICART Course.
At the end of MUSICART the children will take home Artwork they are proud of - and a load of happy memories!
