After a resounding success with 2010’s Hell’s Half Acre and over 10,000 visitors, Lazarides Gallery are delighted to announce a groundbreaking collaboration with Kofler & Kompanie, pioneers of PRET A DINER (Europe's most celebrated pop up restaurant), who will be redefining the dining experience in the form of a Michelin Star pop-up restaurant, during their two-week residence at The Old Vic Tunnels. During Frieze and London Restaurant Festival, from 10 October until 25 October, the underground venue will transform into an alternative cultural space featuring a labyrinth gallery of cutting-edge artwork and film, offering a world-class restaurant and lounge-bar. PRET A DINER is the official “pop-up” restaurant partner of the London Restaurant Festival.
Within the maze of artwork, KP Kofler, Founder and CEO of Germany’s most well known caterers, will bring together some of the best chefs in the world to demonstrate their technical expertise and unique form of creative cuisine. By refashioning one of the Tunnels, KP Kofler will introduce PRET A DINER to the London stage for the very first time, with top Michelin-starred chefs Nuno Mendes (Viajante, London), Matthias Schmidt (Villa Merton, Frankfurt) and Juan Amador, (Amador, Mannheim).
Lazarides’ return to the Tunnels this year takes inspiration from the ancient Greek legend of The Minotaur. Steve Lazarides will commission artists from his international stable to each create their own interpretation of the classical myth within a stunning Labyrinth installation. Artists so far confirmed to contribute include: Stanley Donwood, Jonathan Yeo, Antony Micallef, Conor Harrington, Doug Foster, 3D, Ian Francis, ATMA, Michael Najjar and Lucy McLauchlan .
A three course meal at PRET A DINER including entrance to the exhibition will be priced at £75. Bookings will be available from 7pm and 9pm. Tickets will be on sale from 10 September 2011.
Tickets to The Minotaur: £5. A portion of the fee will be donated to The Old Vic Theatre Trust. Free entry to under 16s. For future revelations follow @Lazarides_Art on Twitter for real-time updates or check: www.minotaur.co.uk

When a hugely bankable star agrees to appear in a sure-fire commercial hit, film producers Bobby Gould and Charlie Fox are convinced this is the break of a lifetime. That is until Karen (played by Lindsay Lohan), a temporary secretary, derails the dream. When she persuades Bobby to dump the blockbuster in favour of a story which can only be described as box-office poison, Charlie is forced to resort to desperate measures….

She has appeared in the TV series Ugly Betty and starred as Elizabeth Taylor in the biographical TV film Liz & Dick.
Director Lindsay Posner has directed more plays by David Mamet in the West End than any other director, including: Oleanna with Julia Stiles and Aaron Eckhart, Sexual Perversity in Chicago with Matthew Perry, Minnie Driver and Kelly Reilly and A Life in the Theatre with Patrick Stewart and Joshua Jackson.
“You know everyone's got things, in private, but if we were all totally honest with each other about things sexually, I don't know that anyone would ever be attracted to anyone else."
