Skatteskrapan is a 26-storey, 86m building in Stockholm, Sweden. It is located at Götgatan 76 in the district of Södermalm, in a block named Gamen . With an initial height of 81 metres and 25 floors, it was the tallest building in Sweden from its completion in 1959 to 1964 when it was surpassed by the 84 metres tall Dagens Nyheter Tower.The building was designed by the architect Paul Hedqvist for the Swedish National Tax Board . It served as the office of the Tax Board until 2003, when it was decided by then mayor of Stockholm Annika Billström that the building was to be rebuilt on the inside to turn the building into student apartments. Svenska Bostäder took over ownership of the building from its former host Vasakronan on 29 December 2003. In 2008 the building was bought by AP Fastigheter that merged shortly after with Vasakronan. The building is protected as a cultural landmark by the city of Stockholm, which means it can't be rebuilt on the outside.The rebuilt skyscraper, which was built by Skanska now has room for 415 student apartments as well as office and conference apartments on the top floors. In connection to the rebuilt scraper, a new seven floor-building was built aside with 61 student apartments and 19 rented apartments. On the first and second floors of the skyscraper, and in the side building, there is room for shops and restaurants. The official name of the new building complex is now Skrapan .

Den gröne Jägaren is a bar and restaurant at Götgatan 64 in Södermalm, Stockholm, Sweden. It began at a small tavern in the 1600s at Sankt Paulsgatan, near Van der Nootska Palace. It is said that Jacob Johan Anckarström ate his dinner at the Den gröne Jägaren on March 16, 1792 before he went to the Gustavian Opera House to shoot the king Gustav III.Today's restaurant is located on the ground floor of Hellgrenska Palace and was built in 1866. On the façade there is the classic flag sign with a green clad hunter with his gun. It is described as having some of the cheapest beer in the capital.

INFO is an anarchist bookstore, Dagfiket is the café open during the days and finally Scen 44 is the part that handles concerts and runs the café during concerts. The place is part of the building Kapsylen, an old bottling plant that is cooperately owned.Kafe 44 is also a popular place for anarchists, socialists and anti-fascists.The café serves Cuba-Cola, coffee, various cookies and the famous ultra buns. Scen 44 is an open stage meaning any band can book it and get a percentage on the door. The entrance fee is normally between 30 and 60 SEK. Usually there is no age limit at the concerts.

Kastellet is a small citadel located on the islet Kastellholmen in central Stockholm, Sweden.HistoryThe first fortification on the location was built in 1667 designed by Erik Dahlbergh. It exploded in June 1845 and subsequently a new was built 1846-1848 to the design of architect Fredrik Blom. It consists of a round tower with red brick walls and a 20 meter high stair tower. On the top flies the Military Ensign of Sweden, it is hoisted and lowered every day, indicating the nation is at peace.On May 17, 1996, the Norwegian Constitution Day, some Norwegian expats raised the Norwegian flag in the tower. Though such an action would historically have been taken as a declaration of war, a diplomatic crisis could be avoided.

Located in the southernmost corner of the old town, the square connects the thoroughfares Västerlånggatan and Österlånggatan, while the two alleys, Södra Bankogränd and Norra Bankogränd, stretches east to connect the square to Skeppsbron, and two other alleys, Järntorgsgatan and Triewaldsgränd, leads south to Slussplan and Kornhamnstorg respectively.The second oldest square in Stockholm, slightly younger than Stortorget, Järntorget dates back to around 1300 and remained the city's most important trade centre for centuries — constantly busy and crowded, scents and noise intermixing while goods were transported from shore to shore across the square and up and down the attics of the surrounding buildings.

Stockholm limanının giriş ağzında yoğun deniz trafiğinin olduğu bölgedeki batık 24 Nisan 1961 tarihinde neredeyse hiç yıpranmamış olarak kurtarılmış ve su yüzeyine çıkartılmıştır. Önce geçici bir müzeye konan gemi daha sonra Stockholm’deki gemiyle aynı adla anılan Vasa Müzesine aktarılmıştır. İsveç’in en önemli turist çeken merkezlerinden birisi haline gelen müze 1961 yılından günümüze kadar 28 milyon kişi tarafından ziyaret edilmiştir.Gemi döneminin ağır gemilerinden birisiydi ve yeterince safra almamıştı. Limanda gözlemlenen dengesizliğine rağmen demir almasına izin verilmiş ve birkaç dakika içinde kuvvetli bir rüzgârla karşılaşınca yana yatarak su almaya başlamış ve hızla batmıştır. Geminin batmasında birkaç etkenin ortak etkisi vardır. Dönemin İsveç kralı II. Gustaf Adolf yurtdışında bulunuyor ve bu önemli savaş gemisinin sürmekte olan Otuz Yıl Savaşı sırasında Baltık filosuna acilen katılmasını istiyordu. Aynı zamanda kralın danışmanları geminin zayıf yanlarını krala bildirmekten çekinmişler ve denize açılmasını erteleyememişlerdir. Batışın ardından toplanan Danışma Meclisi soruşturma yürütse de sorumlu kimseye hiçbir ceza verilmemiştir.Geminin 1961 yılında yeniden su yüzeyine çıkartılmasıyla beraber binlerce dönemsel eşyanın yanı sıra 15 denizciye ait ceset de bulunmuştur. Bulunan eşyalar arasında elbiseler, silahlar, toplar, araç-gereçler, mutfak takımları, yiyecek-içecekler sayılabilir. Çok iyi korunmuş olan gemi tarihçilere dönemin denizciliğinin yanı sıra günlük hayata dair çok önemli bilgiler vermektedir. Gemi İsveç’in gurur duyacağı bir büyük savaş gemisi olarak tasarlandığı için hiçbir masraftan kaçınılmamış ve gemi çeşitli sanat eseri niteliğindeki süslerle bezenmişti. Bugün müze gemi olarak sergilenmektedir.
